  • Unionization efforts

  • Responding to agency requests for information

Through years of advising employers, both at some of the top law firms in the country and as in-house counsel, Chris understands what employers need to successfully manage their workforces.  Employers deserve timely, straightforward, and practical advice that cuts to the heart of the issue that needs to be resolved.  That means not providing just a legal analysis, but applying the law to an employer's actual policies and workforce.  Chris always strives to cut to the heart of the matter and give employers advice that they can take and implement.

Advocacy

Chris has significant experience representing employers in litigation and agency hearings.  Chris has represented employers in federal and state courts, and before federal agencies like the EEOC and NLRB, among others.  Chris tries to resolve disputes in an early and cost-effective manner when possible, but also understands that employers sometimes want or need to litigate to the very end in order to protect their rights.  Whatever the forum, Chris is committed to providing excellent, zealous service to defend employers from claims made by employees.  Chris has defended employers against employee claims alleging the following, among others:

  • Wage and hour violations

  • Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation

  • ADA and FMLA leave interference or denial

  • Religious and disability accommodations

  • NLRA violations

  • EEOC charges

  • Federal and state employment law claims - including Title VII

  • Unemployment insurance claims

  • Workers' compensation claims

Whether your business needs advice and counsel, zealous representation, or both, call or e-mail Chris today to schedule a consultation.
